History

Expitrans was founded in 2003 by Scott Vickers and Kenneth Shaw who met at the University of California, Irvine. Initially, Expitrans offered technology development and risk management solutions in Southern California. In 2004, the company diversified into the payment processing industry, becoming one of the earliest companies to incorporate VoIp in their business solutions. At present, Expitrans aims to become the number one global provider of innovative, highly efficient and cost effective business solutions for the financial and telecommunication industries.

Kenneth Shaw

President and CEO

Ken found a passion for a software development at a very young age. Only 13 years old, he started working as a programmer. Later, Ken began working as a Security Consultant, performing penetration testing for small companies and even smaller government organizations in California. Ken has worked for all types of companies – from the Fortune 500 to a two-man startup – in a Software Development capacity, building Linux Information Systems and working as a consultant.

In 2003, Ken co-founded Expitrans, Inc. where he brought his experience in Call Center Software, Risk Management, Security and Electronic Payments. When he's not managing the day-to-day business or overseeing development operations at Expitrans, he spends his time diving in exotic locales.

Ken holds a Bachelors degree in Information and Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine.

Scott Vickers

Senior Vice President – Business Development

As Vice President of Business Developmenr, Scott brings his 11 years of business development experience to Expitrans where he leads the development of our global marketing strategy, partnerships, and risk management policies. Before joining Expitrans, Scott was in charge of the staffing, training and marketing as a senior manager and partner in a variety of contact centers in Orange County, California. There, he perfected his unique sales and marketing approaches, which he now incorporates in Expitrans' consulting with contact centers. Scott attended the University of California, Irvine where he studied Computer Engineering.
